A warranty policy you can feel good about

Five Year Warranty on All Shoprider Mobility Scooters and Powerchairs

Our 5 Year Warranty on all Shoprider Mobility Scooters and Powerchairs extends to the original purchaser only. Your original receipt will be required as proof of purchase for any and all warranty repairs. This 5 Year Warranty applies to repairs and failures that are a result of defective materials or workmanship which occurred during normal use. The warranty does not apply to products not supplied by Canada Scooters Inc, shipping damages, failures from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, commercial use, damages by anyone other than the authorized dealer, or damage that is attributable to acts of God. Your warranty will not cover abuse, neglect, parts or changes not authorized by Canada Scooters, or damages caused by exceeding the weight specifications.

The warranty does not include labour charges, or shipping charges. Any and all warranty services must be carried out by Canada Scooters at an authorized service centre. Furthermore, the warranty is void if the product’s original serial number tag has been removed or altered.

Should your mobility scooter have a faulty or damaged part, do not return it without a written authorization. See the Canada Scooters Return Policy for more details.




Motor, Transaxle, Brake


Wiring, Controller, Electronics, Suspension, Electric Seat


All other original components such as wheels, upholstery, plastics, rubber parts, painted surfaces, motor brushes, and lightbulbs. 



The Proudrider Two Year Peace of Mind Full Warranty includes:

  • Gearbox 
  • Engine 
  • Brake 
  • Bearings 
  • Bushings 
  • Rubber Components 
  • Plastic components (except body) 
  • Electronic Controllers 
  • Chargers 
  • Harnesses 
  • Any other electrical subassembly 


The Proudrider Two Year Peace of Mind Full Warranty does not include any parts or components that are replaced due to normal wear and tear. For example:

  • Plastic shrouds 
  • Motor brushes 
  • Upholstery and seating 
  • Brake Pads 
  • Tires and tubes 
  • Fuses/Bulbs 


Any and all warranty services and maintenances must be peformed by an authroized Proudridre dealer. If you have any questions, please contact your Proudrider dealer.
